At Smith's Model Railways you can cancel your order up to 14 days after day of delivery, the item then has to be returned within 14 days to us with no faults, in original packaging and returned in the same condition it was sent. With all our orders if their is no fault with the product or you just no longer require it, you have to pay for the postage for the product to be returned to us.
We will offer a full refund if the item is faulty, not as described or doesn’t do what it’s supposed to do, we would appreciate a notice within 5 days of receiving the item(s). The items must be returned in the full condition they were received including the original packaging and delivery packaging. If it is not possible to return the item(s) in the original parcel/packaging they should be suitably packaged to prevent further damage whilst in transit.
If the product is faulty please get into contact with us on our contact page. All faulty products must require a covering letter, your original invoice and your contact details. With all faulty items the cost of postage will be fully reimbursed upon request in the covering letter, but you must retain the receipt of postage (ask for Proof of Postage at the post office, Its free) and we will only cover the cost for Standard 2nd class postage.
